If you are waiting to receive a new Direct Express card in the mail for your Social Security or other federal benefits payment, it usually takes 10 business days for your card to arrive.
Direct Express does NOT provide a tracking number for new cards that are mailed.

Tracking Number – Replacement Card
If your Direct Express card is lost or stolen, expired or deactivated and you are waiting on a replacement direct express card, you should wait 10 business days after you were told the card has been mailed to receive it.
Unfortunately, Direct Express does NOT provide a tracking number for replacement cards that are mailed.
If 10 business days have passed and you still did not receive the card in the mail, you should contact Direct Express at the phone number provided above.
